And Alex Jones appeared delighted as she enjoyed a low-key walk with her baby boy Kit, three months, during her maternity leave in London on Tuesday afternoon.

The One Show presenter, 42 - who is also mother to 31-month-old son Teddy - nailed casual chic as she donned a monochrome striped T-shirt, teamed with a pair of baggy low-slung jeans.

Opting for comfort in the footwear department, the host strolled along the streets of the English capital in black canvas trainers and accessorised with stylish cat-eye sunglasses.

The Tumble star swept her tresses away from her face and into a ponytail during her outing, which revealed her naturally radiant complexion. 

During her final episode ahead of her break in April, the Welsh beauty revealed she'll be making a return to the BBC show in autumn.

Sharing an adorable black and white snap of the newborn's hand, the Welsh beauty added the gushing caption: 'And then there were 4!!! Little kit Thomson arrived safely and very speedily last Monday at 2.21am weighing a healthy 7lbs 3.'

Alex joyfully continued: 'Teddy, Charlie and I are absolutely besotted by baby brother and are enjoying this special time as we get used to being a foursome and generally breathing in that lovely newborn smell!!!

During an recent interview on podcast Guide Dogs: By My Side, the brunette shared the differences in family support between her first and second pregnancy.

The doting parent said: 'Mum was amazing at the beginning with Teddy. She was there for the first three weeks and thank goodness for her because I don't know how we would've done it, actually. Everybody has nerves about being a mum and being a parent.

'Pregnancy for any woman is a period of excitement, also slightly terrifying as you don't know what to expect. Even with your second it's like: "how am I going to do two?"'

The BBC star then asked sprinter Libby if she and her partner Dan Powell had similar family support, to which the sportswoman replied: 'We don't have any family support at the mo' because we live so far away from them.'

Drawing parallels between her and Libby's long-distance family relationships, Alex echoed: 'We have the same problem. One set is in New Zealand, Auckland, and one set is in Wales, it's not on the doorstep type of stuff.'
