Wendy Williams rocks a $2,000 Louis Vuitton 'bumbag' for a ride with the locals on a commuter train to Philadelphia

Wendy Williams is a woman of the people.

The beloved talk show host rode with the locals on a commuter train from New York City to Philadelphia on Monday and she did it in style. 

Despite taking the cost effective mode of public transportation, Wendy still managed to show off her celebrity status with a pricey accessory.

The 55-year-old was spotted outside of Penn Station in Manhattan with a security guard as she headed to hop the train to Pennsylvania.

She was dressed in a simple black sheath dress with a sheer back duster on top and a pair of sneakers. 

Wendy accessorized with a bold pair of reflective gold sunglasses and a Louis Vuitton monogrammed 'bumbag' in the color khaki, which retails for the steep price of $1,980.

When she got to the City of Brotherly Love, Wendy took to social media with a snap posing in front of the Amtrak sign at 30th Street Station.

She's slated to take the stage in New Jersey, her home state, over the weekend.

On Monday, Wendy sat down with Andy Cohen during his live radio show on SiriusXM and addressed recent rumors that she had canceled shows to 'party.'

The mother of one said those rumors were simply, 'not true.'

During the interview, Cohen also asked the star about DailyMail.com's exclusive reports on Hunter's affair and the subsequent baby girl he had with his mistress.

'You see I knew a lot of things for years,' Wendy said, intimating that she was aware of Hunter's affair.

Wendy reiterated that she knew 'a lot of things for years' but was hesitant to make any moves because her son, Kevin Jr. was still living at home.

'I had to get my ducks in a row,' she told Cohen.

Wendy filed for divorce from her husband of over 20 years, Kevin Hunter, in the spring.
